After a trip I usually end up with a few photos that are good enough to publish and share. Recently I’ve been looking for the best way to do just that. From a self managed website and a blog to the popular platforms like Instagram and Facebook. There are ways to do this, but not exactly as I wanted to. They all have their own upsides and downsides.

My goal was to use something that would allow me to tell a story. A story of a trip, of a place or an event. The goal was to combine images with text to tell what I call a photo story or a photo essay.

That’s why recently I’ve made StoryVisualist, a tool for building photo essays or photo stories like this one:

Photography in Iguazu National Park, Argentina

    or this one:

    Above the Fog in Zurich

They can also be embedded in the website here like so:

Overall, I think I’ve found a good format to present my photos and I hope to share more in the future. Additionally if anyone would like to try this tool for themselves, just let me know.
