Hyperfocal Distance Calculator
What is it? Hyperfocal distance is a distance from a lens beyond which all objects can be brought into an "acceptable" focus.
When a lens is focused on the hyperfocal distance, the scene will be in focus from half of that distance to infinity.
Finding and focusing on the hyperfocal distance is a technique that can be used to maximize the depth of field while only taking a single exposure. For cases where this is not possible other techniques can be applied like focus staking.
Use this tool to calculate where to focus based on the lens you are using.
