  • Lavertezzo, the jewel of the Verzasca Valley

Ticino, is the closest place to Italy you can go in Switzerland (the only Italian speaking canton). Here, there are plenty of old villages with stone houses that withstood the elements for centuries. One of these places is the medieval village of Lavertezzo. With only a few hundred people living here, it’s like traveling back in time. In summer this area is a popular swimming spot due to the crystal clear river that flows through the valley.

By staying one night in Lavertezzo, I captured 2 photos from the classic viewpoint. One is just after sunrise and one at blue hour after sunset.

    Sunrise photo:

    • Camera: Fujifilm X-T3
    • Lens: Fujinon 10-24 f4 @ 12mm
    • Exposure: 1/75s f8 iso160

    Blue hour photo:

    • Camera: Fujifilm X-T3
    • Lens: Fujinon 10-24 f4 @ 11.5mm
    • Exposure: 5s f8 iso160

Both photos were first processed in Lightroom and later finished with some minor adjustments in Photoshop.
