Early morning at the harbour of Vernazza

Vernazza has several scenic view points. While the most popular one is the high lookout on the hiking trail where you can get photos like this one, or this one, if you have a tough morning (maybe from drinking too much of the great local wines?) the easiest location to get to would be the harbour from where you can find a few different compositions.

    Post processing

The exposure in the scene was balanced by using the filters and a single frame was enough. As usual, the raw file was imported in Lightroom where some basic adjustments were applied:

    • White balance correction
    • Shadow and highlight recovery
    • Contrast
    • Vibrance to bring back the colors

The final step was to apply some local adjustments to highlight the foreground rocks and some buildings in the town. This image was completely processed and finished in Lightroom without using Photoshop.
