Exploring winter scenes in Appenzell, Switzerland
What can be more Swiss in winter than mountains, valleys and loads of snow? Recently I visited Appenzell (Alpstein region) after a big snowstorm which covered everything in at least half a meter of snow.
Luckily there are prepared walking tracks which are regularly cleared of snow which you can follow to walk from one town to another. On a sunny nice day like this one it’s a joy to walk around landscapes like this.
